Not Able to access IS (integration server)

Hi Riyaz,

I hope you are doing good.

i have a small query regarding SAP XI.

We have installed XI 7.0 and not able to send the messages from RWB to Intergration server( HTTP 401 Authorization error) Even we tried sending the messages from HTTP client as well. Same error !!!.

Apart from this everything is working fine. Just wanted to check if there is any setting i need to change in order to get the access to IS. Any input wud be greatly appricated.

Make sure you use correct user id and password and the user has appropriate roles attached to the profile allowing to send messages from RWB. See this link for information on specific roles: http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nwpi711/helpdata/en/58/d22940cbf2195de10000000a1550b0/content.htm

Also make sure that the HTTP service is active on your server (Using transaction SICF). If not activate it.

Thank you very much for your quick reply Riyaz. Now it works fine. As you mentioned some of the post installation steps were missing!!
